About VeriCasino

VeriCasino is an independent research project that scores online casinos from the public record — regulator registers, official corporate filings and published enforcement decisions — using one formula applied to every casino. Nobody can pay to appear here, to rank higher, or to have a fact removed.

How we are funded, stated plainly

Some links to operators carry an affiliate commission, and where one does we mark it on the link. That is the only way this site earns anything. It buys nothing on the site: not a ranking position, not a score, not the removal of a regulator action. The formula that produces every number is published in full and runs identically whether or not a commission exists, which is exactly why we can publish it. If ranking by trust and ranking by what pays us ever pointed the same way, you would be right not to believe us — so we let you check: the least flattering casinos to us commercially are often the ones we score highest.

What we are not

We are not a regulator, a licensing body, or a dispute-resolution service, and we cannot get your money back from an operator — for that, go to the regulator that licenses it, and we name that regulator on every profile. We are not lawyers or financial advisers, and nothing here is advice to gamble. Every casino on this site is built to take money from its players over time; a high trust score means a casino is more likely to be honest about doing so and to be supervised while it does, not that it is a good way to make money. It is not.

Where the work comes from

Today the site covers 54 casinos, each checked by hand against 622 distinct primary sources, with 230 individual regulator actions recorded and attributed. We add casinos in waves and re-verify the ones already published, because licences lapse, owners change hands and enforcement is ongoing. Every fact carries the date we last checked it.

Tell us when we are wrong

We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong. If a fact here is out of date or mistaken, tell us and point us at the record — when we fix it, we say so and date the change, because a research site that quietly edits its own history is not one you can trust.
